Glendale Band 1908

The Glendale Band poses for a photo next to the band stand which was located in the large field across from where the depot was located.  You can see the band stand in many of the old photos of downtown.  Reportedly, the band would play on special occasions and would often be on hand if a dignitary of almost any kind was arriving by train at the depot.
