Ladd and Olson's
Beehive Store
Frank Ladd and Gilbert Olson owned a store called the Beehive Store in Glendale around the turn of the last century and well into the last. They were retail merchants that specialized in boots and shoes. Gilbert was born in Norway on 25 Sep 1859 and came to this country and the far West to make his life. He lived until 21 Nov 1951, passed away in Eugene and is buried in the Glendale Memorial Cemetery.
